Sweet Inspirations is a family owned & operated restaurant & ice cream parlor reminiscent of a simpler time. Famous all over Central New York for our Saturday night cruise-ins, oldies parties and monthly sock hops, it's a great time for the whole family to enjoy! We hope you'll make Sweet Inspirations a regular stop, whether it be to check out the Saturday night cruise in, our great food, or the ice cream that started it all!

A Brief History

Sweet Inspirations was opened in 1987 by Jerry and Barb Truax. It was an "A" frame building that just sold ice cream. In 1989 they expanded the building to start selling food. In 1993 they added the new dining area and expanded the lobby. The Sock Hops started being held in 1991. Stephanie and Sandy Freeman bought Sweet Inspirations in April 2001.

Our Mission

1. Because we cook to order, it may take us a little longer, be patient and relax, we think you'll enjoy it more if it's fresh and hot.
2. We try to keep all our products as fresh as possible, so consequently we run out of things now and then and there are some menu items we may not have because of the time of the year.
3. We don't wait on tables, so no tipping is necessary.
4. We stand behind our products and service. If you ever have a problem with either one, PLEASE let us know.
5. We are always open to suggestions, comments and compliments, too!
6. If you don't see it and we have it, we'd be glad to make it. Just ask!
7. Our goal is to make your visit to Sweet Inspirations as enjoyable as possible by giving you exceptional service and great food and ice cream in a restaurant that is comfortable and inviting.
